Internet guru and bestselling author Joe Vitale may have been first to the table with e-books and other forms of online marketing, but he was late putting his own blog up.
The popular author of such books as “The Attractor Factor” finally created his own blog at www.mrfireblog.com
Called “Beyond Marketing,” it’s designed to share his private thoughts on copywriting, marketing, healing, metaphysics, and even homemade wine making.
“I still don’t understand the popularity of blogs,” says the man some call ‘Mr. Fire!’ “I think most of them are self-indulgent ramblings.”
Vitale said he heard a speech by SEO expert Brad Fallon who told him everyone in business needs a blog.
“I’m slow to learn,” Vitale said. “But here I am, with my own blog, wondering if anyone will ever read it.”
Vitale went online in the early 1990s and even wrote one of the first books on Internet marketing, with “CyberWriting”, back in 1995.
“I’ve been a skeptic with a lot of things,” he admits, “including this blog craze. I thought I’d join the frenzy and see where it goes.”
